WHO WE ARE AND WHAT WE DO INTRODUCTIONThis section contains current information only. Northumerland Sea Fisheries Committee (NSFC) is a statutory body with responsibilities for the management and conservation of marine resources within a predefined Distrct stretching from the Scottish Border in the North to the south pier of the River Tyne in the South, and out to the six mile limit. The Committee’s overall aim is the sustainable management of the marine environment through the regulation, development and protection of fisheries resources. In the achievement of this aim the Committee strives to conduct its business in an open, honest and transparent manner. Information on our website is available free of charge. We normally charge 10 pence per sheet for photocopies of hard copy information.
